Song Introduction : Again, Monday…
I woke up, and realized… it’s Monday. Why does Monday have to come right after Sunday? The weekend is only two days long, and my rhythm is completely off. I need to get up and wash up, but for some reason, I just can’t move. I forced myself to wiggle my toes, inch by inch, until I finally managed to get out of the bed. Now that I’ve come to my senses, I stand in front of the mirror and brush my teeth. My head starts to clear, and the things I need to get done at work come to mind. I even find myself wondering what my colleagues did over the weekend
Let’s go work and make my life shine
I place my coffee and sandwich on the table and check the news on my tablet. Hmm. it looks like it’s going to be a busy week. Now that the war is over, oil prices should drop… The positions I need to take at work today ar starting to take shape in my mind. Feeling confident that I can pull this off, I put on my suit, grab my bag, and head out the door. I even feel a bit sharp today. I really am continuing to improve. Let’s make this week count and prepare for a wonderful weekend ahead. Let’s go to work!
