When I feel overwhelmed by the constant struggles of life
It’s strange how all the hard things seem to come at once. Just when I think I’ve cleared one hurdle, another problem is waiting for me the moment I turn around. Dragging myself home after barely making it through, I even stumble over a pebble. I try to find some comfort by looking up at the clear sky, bu I’m soon swallowed up by the worries that won’t leave my head. Is there ever an end to all this?
Carry Me Home My friend
When I hit rock bottom, the people I thought were close seem to drift away. Just as I started to feel truly alone, a friend called me.
“Are you okay?” It was just one sentence, but it felt like the whole world to me. I don’t know why those words gave me so much strength. It reminded me that I’m not an outcast left behind in this world. And through that one person who believes in me, I started to believe in myself a little more, too. Thank you for being there for me, my friend.
